PenSpark welcomes submissions of previously published or unpublished manuscripts of all lengths. We publish various forms of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. We also publish photographs, and photographs of artistic works created in different mediums.
Submission Guidelines We accept simultaneous submissions. Please notify us if your work is accepted elsewhere. PenSpark will not hold exclusive rights to your work if selected. Your work will remain archived online. Should your work be published elsewhere, we would appreciate an acknowledgement.
We accept submissions only via email. We do not accept submissions by postal service. Please allow three to four weeks for a response. Your file must be saved in one of the following formats: .doc, .rtf, .pdf, .txt.
The author’s name and email address should be typed at the top of the first page. Authors are also asked to include a brief biographical note with their submission.
Photography and Art Submission Guidelines We accept photography and art of any theme or subject, excluding sexual or pornographic content. Photography and art submissions should be sent in JPEG, compressed TIFF, or lossless GIF format. You may also provide us a link to your work and we will contact you if we are interested in publishing any selections.
PenSpark does not pay for submissions at this time.
